RNSG 1137 - Professional Nursing Concepts III Credit Hours: 1 Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 0 Application of professional nursing concepts and exemplars within the professional nursing roles. Utilizes concepts of clinical judgment, ethical-legal, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, professionalism, safety, and teamwork and collaboration. Introduces the concept of quality improvement, health information technology, and health care organizations. Incorporates concepts into role development of the professional nurse. This course lends itself to a concept-based approach. A minimum grade of “C” is required to pass this course.
