CJLE 1518 - Basic Peace Officer III

(Capstone Course) Basic preparation for a new peace officer. Should be taken in conjunction with Basic Peace Officer I , Basic Peace Officer II , Basic Peace Officer IV , and Basic Peace Officer V  (supplement) to satisfy the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) approved Basic Peace Officer Training Academy. ***THIS COURSE MAY BE OFFERED ONLY BY INSTITUTIONS LICENSED AS A POLICE ACADEMY BY Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.*** Topics covered are laws pertaining to controlled substances, crowd management, personal property, and crime scene investigation.
